Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment for an Estimate?

No, you can stop by any time that is convenient for you! Plan on staying about 10-15 minutes; we will take a few pictures and provide a written Estimate.

Can I send you pictures of my car's damage instead of coming in?

We would prefer to see your vehicle in person to give the most accurate estimate, but we understand that's not always possible. We will need a picture of your VIN tag (located inside your driver's door), a close up picture of the damage, and a widened view of the damage. Send your pictures to info@heitzmanbodyandpaint.com

What if your Estimate is different than the Insurance Company's Estimate?

No worries! In most instances, we will use the Insurance Company's Estimate to start the repair work. If there is additional damage, or if their estimate is missing items, we will work directly with them on your behalf.

Do you offer loaner cars?

Unfortunately, we do not offer loaner cars. However, we work directly with Enterprise and Hertz, and can offer you preferential rates.

Do you follow manufacturer's specifications for repairs?

Yes! Every vehicle is repaired to manufacturer's specifications and comes with a Lifetime Warranty on all work performed!

What parts will you use on my vehicle?

It's your choice! We generally prefer to use OEM only, but sometimes your Insurance Company will select Aftermarket or Used parts. In cases where Aftermarket or Used parts are available and of good quality, you may need to pay the difference for OEM. Please feel free to call us if you have any further questions about this.

What paint do you use?

Our paint booths are equipped with the latest in refinish technology. We use Spies Hecker's Waterborne paint line, known for its excellence in color match, durability, and superior warranty. All of our refinish technicians are certified directly from the manufacturer.

What happens if you find more damage when you take my car apart?

If we find more damage, we will write up a "supplement" of the additional damage found. We will notify you, as well as your Insurance Company, of the damage and work together to come up with a repair plan that works for all parties.

What do I do if my car is not drivable?

If your vehicle is currently not drivable, please call us right away and we can help facilitate a tow or discuss options.
